Do you want to turn off private browsing mode or Google Chrome Incognito mode feature? Here’s how to disable Incognito mode in Chrome Windows 10 and macOS.
Incognito mode (also known as Private browsing or Privacy mode) is a privacy feature in Google Chrome web browser which is used to disable browsing history, cookies, and the web cache.
Google Chrome incognito mode feature allows a person to browse the Web without storing any kind of local data that could be retrieved at a later date.
In simple words, if you don’t want Google Chrome browser to remember your web activity, you can browse the web privately in Incognito mode. The private browsing mode doesn’t keep a record of which sites you visit because it doesn’t save your browsing history, cookies and site data, or information entered in forms.
So when you browse privately by opening New Incognito Window in Chrome, other people who use the same device and browser won’t be able to see or track your web activity later.
While the Google Chrome Incognito feature keeps your browsing history safe from prying eyes, some people prefer to disable Incognito mode in Chrome on their computers.
For the example: Let’s say, you are in a College or School and students are using private browsing Chrome feature “Incognito mode” to surf sensitive information then it would be extremely hard for IT admin to track what students were accessing on the Internet when Incognito window is enabled.
